In between the night and the morn,
The darkness overwhelmed me.
The demon came back with its evil terror,
Power so strong, I had to give in.
I tried to fight, but I am just one,
I tried to run, but there was nowhere to go.
I had to give in, it was the only way,
The demon would not leave until the blood was shed.
I did the deed, and it was done,
The demon was gone, and I was at peace.
The power of the darkness vanished,
But I was still alone, alone with the pain.
